🌏🤝 Review: Visit from Taiwan to HEMO GmbH

In 2023, we welcomed guests from Taiwan to HEMO GmbH. The visit was organized by our long-standing partner and representative in Taiwan, Mr. David Tseng from Panfolks. Together with him, members of the Taiwanese Hardening Association, including its president, traveled through Europe to get an idea of the latest technologies from leading companies in the industry.

During their two-week trip, the guests visited various furnace manufacturers, hardening plants, and finally us as a manufacturer of cleaning systems. At HEMO, we presented our company, demonstrated our technologies in the technical center, and provided insights into our production processes. We then accompanied the group to our customer, the Wittmann hardening plant in Göppingen, where the visitors were able to see our systems in operation.

The visit proved to be a valuable exchange on both a professional and personal level. We were particularly pleased that it resulted in a concrete collaboration: one of the participants subsequently decided to purchase a HEMO cleaning system for his hardening plant in Taiwan.

We have fond memories of this encounter. It represents what is particularly important to us in international exchange: mutual appreciation, personal contact, and trusting collaboration—across national borders.

Our latest SOLVACS 2.5 parts cleaning system is complete and ready for use in the USA.

It will be used in Ohio by a leading international manufacturer of precision springs and stamped and bent parts, whose products are used worldwide in the automotive, electrical, medical, and household technology sectors.
The system consists of two cleaning tanks, ultrasonic equipment with an effective power of 4.5 kW, and a low-particle design with a polished cleaning chamber to meet the highest cleanliness requirements according to VDA19.
The fully automatic feeding system has two lanes and is designed with automatic lid locking to clean two baskets measuring 470x320x200mm each at the same time. This allows maximum throughput to be achieved with the highest level of cleanliness.

A key reason why the customer chose HEMO is the establishment of our HEMO Cleaning Systems USA Inc. in Clarkston, MI, which enables us to be on site at the customer’s premises in less than an hour, provide comprehensive support, and implement customized solutions quickly and efficiently.

We look forward to implementing many more successful projects in the USA in the future and supporting our customers there with first-class cleaning systems and services.

🔹 parts2clean 2025 – last day of the trade fair in Stuttgart 🔹

Today marks the end of parts2clean 2025. We look back on three intense days at the trade fair, full of inspiring impressions and valuable exchanges. Our booth, which was jointly operated by us and our friends and partners from Surface Alliance, LPW, and MecanoLAV, was a magnet for numerous visitors and constructive discussions.
Another special moment was the farewell to Dieter Lukowski (Safechem) as he entered his well-deserved retirement. We would like to thank him sincerely for his many years of trusting and professional cooperation with HEMO and wish him all the best for the future.

At the same time, we would like to thank everyone who visited us at the booth or took the time to talk to us. Now it’s back to the office with specific topics and tasks – and we look forward to continuing these together with our partners and customers.

Today at HEMO, everything revolved around health.

As part of our Health Day, we introduced our employees to the new WLP (Work Life Portal) app from Humanoo—provided free of charge with the support of Techniker Krankenkasse and HEMO.

The app offers individual exercises and sessions focusing on physical and mental health, supplemented by recipes and tips for everyday life. Our aim is to actively promote prevention and well-being and further strengthen our responsibility for health in the workplace.

A special highlight was the back check with professional physiotherapist Aris Kühner, during which our colleagues were able to have their back muscles analyzed – a valuable contribution to preventing complaints and better assessing their own fitness.

Our new SOLVACS 1 – Precision in medical technology 💉

The SOLVACS 1 is currently on its way to an international customer in the medical technology sector, where it will be installed shortly. The system performs cleaning after mechanical processing steps and before surface treatment. It is designed for the ultra-fine cleaning of particulate and film-like contaminants and is specially optimized for manual loading with low throughput and the highest quality requirements.

Reliable and precise cleaning is essential, especially in medical technology: only by consistently adhering to the highest standards can safe and functional medical devices be produced. Thanks to the integrated process documentation of the SOLVACS 1, complete traceability is guaranteed at all times – for maximum quality and safety.

A special gift with symbolic meaning ✨

With the merger of EMO and Hösel and the resulting founding of HEMO GmbH in 2017, we broke new ground and laid the foundation for the further development of our company in the same year with the opening of our headquarters in Ötisheim.

As a token of appreciation and in memory of our long-standing partnership within the Surface Alliance, LPW Reinigungssysteme gave us a very special gift: a sculpture with the inscription “Dimensionen öffnen” (Open Dimensions).

It symbolizes our path—the courage to create something new, broaden horizons, and move into the future as a strong team.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to @lpw_reinigungssysteme for this meaningful symbol and the ongoing partnership within the Surface Alliance. 🤝

Achieving more together 🤝

At HEMO, we focus on pooling our expertise. Our team brings together a wide range of qualifications and actively supports each other—because only by working together can we create solutions that impress.

Through intensive collaboration and the exchange of expertise, we are constantly growing, learning from each other, and creating a strong foundation that everyone in the team can rely on.

A real eye-catcher! 😍

We love our parts cleaning systems so much that we hang them on the wall – literally. Because what we build is not just technology – it is genuine craftsmanship.

At HEMO, our systems are allowed to shine – on the wall and in practice. 😉

🇩🇪 Partnership since 2012 – HEMO & SAMT 🇨🇳

Last week, we welcomed some special visitors: our licensing partner Shen Li from SAMT in Shaoxing (https://www.samtc.com) visited us in Ötisheim together with his son, his sister Shen Dan, and her daughter.

We have enjoyed a successful partnership in China since 2012. During this time, we have delivered over 100 systems to China or manufactured them directly on site – a result that would not have been possible without trust, reliability, and mutual respect.

It is all the more wonderful when personal encounters are added to this business collaboration. The visit showed us once again that international partnerships are not only shaped by projects and figures, but above all by people who pursue common goals.

We look forward to many more years of collaboration and successful projects. 🤝

A look behind the scenes – our production facility in Ötisheim

Our parts cleaning systems are manufactured right here on site – from the first frame to the fully assembled and tested system, all in one hall.

There is no showroom here, just everyday life: workbenches, tools, cables – and a team that works together with a wealth of experience, care, and precision.

When the systems finally leave our hall, they go all over the world, whether to Europe, Asia, or overseas.

Strong together: Electrical engineering, precision, and everything from a single source ⚡️⠀

The pictures show Tobi and Attila, representing our team of almost 10 electricians who implement our projects every day with a high level of expertise and commitment.⠀

Our approach is clearly structured: after precisely positioning all important components, we install the cable ducts. At the same time, a dedicated HEMO team works on manufacturing the control cabinets and preparing them for installation. All electrical and pneumatic lines are then laid according to the circuit diagram, and each component and valve is carefully labeled and professionally connected.⠀

The decisive advantage of our holistic approach: short communication and work paths, quick coordination, and flexible adjustments—for maximum efficiency and quality.⠀

We are proud of our team and the outstanding performance it delivers every day. This enables us to guarantee reliable and customized solutions from a single source. 🙌⠀

Our new favorite coworker: the foosball table 2.0 ⚽️

When you work together a lot, you should also take breaks together.

Our new foosball table isn’t just a game—it’s a meeting place for spontaneous encounters, short breaks, and big rematches. 🏆

Our first foosball table was played so intensively that it went into well-deserved retirement after many matches. Now version 2.0 is ready—and is already an integral part of our everyday work. It is used daily, often between appointments, sometimes at the end of the week—always with lots of fun and team spirit.

Our customer from France recently visited the HEMO Ötisheim plant for preliminary acceptance.

This Solvacs 3.5 S will be used to clean laser-cut and stamped components made of stainless steel and copper.

It can either run a special basket measuring 800x600x400 mm (LxWxH) or two standard baskets measuring 600x400x400 mm (LxWxH).

The automatic loading system has 7 slots. In addition, a manual gravity roller conveyor is attached to facilitate handling for internal transport.

A special feature here is our new energy-saving system, which saves several kilowatts of heating energy, so that the system has a total power consumption of less than 50 kW.

You can even look forward to the environmental audit.

We are pleased to inform our network that our company is now ClimatePartner-certified! This is an important milestone on our path to greater climate protection and corporate responsibility.

This certification confirms that we:

✅ have recorded and analyzed our CO₂ emissions

✅ implement concrete measures to reduce them

✅ and offset unavoidable emissions through certified climate protection projects

It is clear to us that sustainable action is not a trend, but a responsibility.

That is why we will continue to focus on transparency, continuous improvement and environmental awareness – for a clean future, not just in the industrial sense.

We are TOP Innovator 2025

We are delighted: We were able to prevail in the renowned TOP 100 innovation competition and now proudly bear the TOP 100 seal 2025! 🏆

More than 100 test criteria were evaluated – and our innovative spirit was convincing. As a particularly innovative medium-sized company, we were able to accept the award in person on June 27 in Mainz. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar, mentor of the competition, will congratulate us on this success.

A big thank you to our team, who work with passion and creativity on pioneering solutions every day!

Award100

Our Managing Director Andreas Fritz spent a few days with our partner SAMT in China in November. They had organized a customer day in Hangzhou on the subject of “Cleaning gears and bearings”. Andreas Fritz presented the products of the Surface Alliance and their possibilities to have systems manufactured locally at SAMT. This was followed by several more customer visits to discuss current projects. It is always an advantage to be able to maintain contacts personally on site. Proximity to our customers is important to us.

At the anniversary conference on industrial component cleaning from 11 to 12 September 2024 in Dresden, our colleague Markus Mitschele gave a presentation on solvent cleaning through the ages – worldwide. He was supported by Michael Onken, SAFECHEM. The two speakers outlined the developments from the open TRI tank to the closed vacuum system and shed light on how solvent cleaning has adapted to changing conditions.

At the subsequent general meeting of the Industrial Parts Cleaning Association, Markus Mitschele gave an overview of the activities of the Process and Plant Technology Committee, which he chairs. Many companies are involved in the committee, so much has been achieved in recent months and some guidelines are about to be finalised.

Flexible cleaning system in Taiwan

Our customer Mountop Precision in Taiwan is a well-known manufacturer of rotary valves for a wide range of applications. We are delighted that they have decided in favour of a cleaning system from HEMO for the construction of a new hardening shop at their Taichung City site. By expanding its capacity, Mountop can clean its own components to the best possible quality before and after heat treatment and utilise the surplus capacity for contract cleaning and heat treatment – there are no limits to the flexibility of our cleaning system.

Automation project at Wilkinson Sword

Last year, we expanded an existing system at Wilkinson Sword in Solingen with an automation system with an accumulation section and connection to an automated guided vehicle system (AGV). The AGV, which transports goods between the various production areas throughout the company, was realised by the customer. Sick AG, another partner involved in this project, has published a film in which you can see our system and conveyor technology in action. See for yourself.
